One problem related to front seat recliner has been reported for the 2000 Saturn SC. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driver seat recliner failure. Same problem that affected 1994 and 1995 Saturns (recalled as well). Gear teeth in recliner mechanism get worn out and no longer hold the seat backrest upright. This poses a safety issue.
