One problem related to manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe has been reported for the 1999 Saturn SC2. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Service engine soon light came on, mechanic states the oxygen sensor failed and needs to be replaced. Nlm Saturn will not replace or fix the unit, also, consumer had to replace a muffler on the vehicle.
