Air Bag Not Deploy Problems of Saturn SC2

While my grandson was driving my 1998 Saturn Sc2, another vehicle hit the car on the drivers' side and the airbags did not deployed.

: the contact stated while driving 40 mph on a dry highway someone pulled out in front of the vehicle and the contact's vehicle was hit head on. The air bags did not deploy. The passenger side obtained the most damage. There were not any lights illuminated on the dashboard prior to the incident. There were injuries and a police report was filed at the scene.

While driving approximately 40 mph another vehicle hit the consumer s vehicle head on. The frontal air bags failed to deploy on impact. Please provide further information.

Consumer called complaining about her air bags not deploying. Also stated that she was involved on a frontal collision. Manufacture was not contacted.

While in motion, consumer placed the vehicle in cruise control, maintaining a speed of 66 mph. Consumer had to apply the brakes to avoid an accident. Consumer felt the brakes catch, then there was a letting go feeling. The rear of the vehicle began to fishtail from side to side. The vehicle was unresponsive to the braking efforts. Consumer tried to exit the road. The vehicle hit the rising of the median and flipped onto its roof. Consumer suffered various bodily injuries. Consumer requests the defects endured be investigated, consumer looked at the bottom of the vehicle and observed that the right rear wheel had DE-beaded and had no air, this is what caused the vehicle to fishtail, tire is a firestone lemans hr tublps 195/60r15, in the accident, the airbag failed to deploy.

While driving on a 2-lane highway travelling at approximately 65 mph, an antelope ran out in front of us. My husband tried to avoid hitting the animal and lost control of the vehicle. We ended up airborn and drove off a 30 foot embankment. The car landed nose first on the ground. The airbags did not deploy. Thankfully, everyone escaped with only minor injuries. The car has been totaled, this all after only owning the vehicle two weeks. I feel that the airbags should have gone off. They are designed for low impact in frontal crashes. If hitting solid ground nose first at 65 mph isn't low impact, I would hate to see what is!.

When driver crashed hiead-on into a telephone pole, the seat belt did not lock, causing driver's head to hit windshield. Also the air bags did not deploy until after driver was thrown back into the seat from the impact. Driver's head, knees and wrist were injured in the crash. The vehicle had been totalled. While driving with cruise control activated the vehicle was braking and the vehicle accelerated up to 80 mph. The braking system was inoperative, causing a frontal accident with the barriers in which the driver's and passenger's airbags did not deploy, failing to protect the occupants in this accident.

During frontal impact at 45 to 50 mph, the driver's and passnger's side air bags did not deploy. Please provide details.
