While applying the brakes passenger's side brake light came on and off intermittently when applied. Consumer had another driver to observed while applying the brake pedal. Brake ligh came on and then went off. Consumer took vehicle the vehicle to the dealer, and mechanic determined that the bulb needed to be replaced.

2 Brake Light problem of the 1997 Saturn SL

Failure Date: 02/01/2000

Rred one year ago. I took it to the dealer and he fixed it. Now it is falling again. It seems that it is more likely to fail when headlamp is off. In addition, I also saw other cars of same model had the similar failures.
