One problem related to fuel pump has been reported for the 1997 Saturn SL1. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When turning ignition vehicle would turn over, but it wouldn't start. Owner has to start vehicle a number of times to in order to run. Dealer says its due to a faulty fuel pump. Dealer has replaced the fuel pump.
