One problem related to manual transmission column shift has been reported for the 1997 Saturn SL1. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The e- clip on stick shift that holds the shift cable keeps dismounting. When this happens the vehicle is not able to be put into gear. Dealer has been contacted.
