One problem related to clutch bell housing has been reported for the 1999 Saturn SL1. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Clutch starts slipping suddenly. Dealer and manufacturer were contacted, and were aware of the problem, but there was nothing they could do. While in cruise control at 5mph vehicle will accelerate to 8mph.
