One problem related to automatic transmission cooler has been reported for the 1998 Saturn SL2. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Transmission converter housing was pourous and allowed transmission fluid to leak out. The converter housing had to be replaced, with new gaskets, filter and sealant.
