Three problems related to front seat recliner have been reported for the 2000 Saturn SL2. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle was involved in a chain reaction accident that caused seat back to collapse. Dealer has not been contacted at this time. Ak.
While stopping vehicle was rear-ended. After the collision both front seat backs collapsed and fell back onto rear seats.
Vehicle was struck from rear at 25 mph, and driver's side seatback collapsed. There was a recall in older models for same problem. Saturn has been contacted.
