One problem related to side/rear glass has been reported for the 2000 Saturn SL2. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear window failed catastrophically due to mild thermal gradient. It is known that there was no impact of any kind within 6 hours of failure due to a snowfall which covered the window. Window failed two minutes after powered show was dusted off exposing it to cooler air. Saturn denies responsibility for the defect.
