Three problems related to tire have been reported for the 2000 Saturn SL2. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states that the tires on the vehicle having been wearing out continueously and the consumer has replaced the tires several times. Contacted dealer and the dealer is not willing to do anything.
Left rear tire had area of tread separation. Right front tire had an imperfection causing a flat area. These defects produced a thumping sound when driving. Tires were replaced and thumping sound is now gone. (tiresize: p185/65r15)( dot number: tire size: p185/65r15 ).
All tires on car repeatedly went flat within 2 weeks of purchase. Firestone did not repair nor replace despite numerous visits & calls. Saturn refuses to assist despite numerous calls and emails. All tires have been replaced by owner 2/00 for safety/convenience after changing tires dozens of times and airing them every day. No problems since new non-firestone tires have been put on.
