Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Saturn Vue Hybrid. The contact stated that the engine failed to start when turning the ignition switch. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the ignition switch was replaced but the failure continued to occur. In addition, while driving at an unknown speed, smoke was emitting from the windshield wiper switch. The switch was replaced and the failure was remedied. Also, the steering wheel would momentarily malfunction making the steering wheel difficult to turn and while driving the vehicle crashed into a second vehicle and the airbags did not deploy. No injuries were reported. The cause of the failures were not diagnosed. No further information was available. The manufacturer was notified. The VIN was not available.
