Air Bag Problems of Saturn Vue Hybrid

Tl the contact owns a 2009 Saturn Vue Hybrid. While driving approximately 25-30 mph, the front driver's side tire experienced a blowout. The contact stated that the side curtain air bag deployed without warning. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to prince Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of albany (located at 2701 ledo rd, albany, GA 31707, (229) 432-6271), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 170,000.

I was driving to college when the check engine light came on. Upon stopping at a red light, the auto-stop feature kicked in but once I started going, the battery light came on and the entire vehicle started running horribly and the lights dimming. The airbag, traction control, and abs dash lights all started turning on and then off also. So I now have both check engine and battery lights staying on. I went to my fathers house to use his code reader since the service department at the dealership was closed and I have the following codes: poabb, poafb, p1a47, p1174, and three poa37. These codes are all saying that the hybrid system is over voltage and the diagnostic fix is to replace the hybrid system/power invertor. I'm going to the certified Saturn dealership in the morning to have it thoroughly looked at. But after looking at other complaints, it seems that gm should have looked at all the hybrid line battery systems for faultiness and needs to fix them!.

First off I have had this issue from the beginning. Basically my car's electrical system pulls back and then all the lights start to go off. Elec stability control, air bags, the steering sort of locks up and I have stalled on occasion. I have had my car in the shop numerous times this issue and it never seems to get fixed. It sounds like the same issue gm is having with their current recall but my car is not on the list. I have only one key on my key chain and that does not seem to make any difference. It is a very uncomfortable feeling not knowing if my car will work tomorrow. Delillo Chevrolet in hunting beach, CA has been very helpful in trying to detect the problem and they have been very gracious but I need the issue resolved once and for all. My intention is to hand down this car to my 16 year old but not if the current issue persists.
