Regarding body/other: some of the convertible-roof steel frame/bars got bent when closing the top and the bent bars would prevent the top from closing unless you forced the steel/metal bars.

Electrical fuses tend to cause electrical shorts, with a/c coming on and off at any given time, often when I hit speed bumps. The lights can be caused by this as well hitting the simple right corner turn can pop the light right out. I have repeatedly told them that it needs better shocks. I have replaced the lights both front and back at a very minimum of 12 times a year. That's ridiculous in my eyes. It should be Smarter than that!!!!.

Tl the contact owns a 2017 Smart Fortwo. While the vehicle was in reverse, the contact heard an abnormal noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. Vehicle in my garage, found vehicle battery box and passenger seat flooded due to the air conditioning condensation tube joint located in the battery box disconnected. Vehicle would not start, vehicle will not start, even after emptying the water from the battery box and recharging the battery. Have a read multiple complaints concerning this issue on the Smart blog. Possible electric shock issue as well as all electrical and lights out.

The car just shuts off at anytime whiledriving in d your just a sitting duck cant use gear to unlock trammission so it could be moved out of way of on comming traffic, theres no warning the cars is in the shop now, this has happen to other Smart Fortwo owners, its a death trap wating to happen needs to be fixed before more people lose there life, look at gm . 54cent could have saved many lose lives.
