Tl-the contact owns a 2019 Subaru crostrek. The contact stated that the passenger side air bag occupant detection system deactivated when the seat was occupied. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for a diagnostic, but an appointment was scheduled for today ( 10-11-19 ) at the dealer grayson Subaru, 8729 kingston pike, knoxville, TN 37923, for a diagnostic. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000. Bp.
