To whom it may concern; again having ongoing issues and problems with my 2025 Crosstrek. just got it back from the dealership after it being there for over 3 weeks. I was returned to me with a nail in the tire. And they even lost my keys at the dealership. I've had my car back not even 24 hours and have 2 maintenance sensors come on. And the driver asst is only working one one side. of course I contact the Subaru dealership - only to get dumped into a voicemail that doesn't get checked. I'm yet to hear from anyone from Subaru. most likely won't. at this time it seems like the only way to get anything resolved is to seek legal action. that's sad because it really shouldn't have to come to that. Starting to wonder honestly if anyone actually works or does their job at Subaru. (or at least there job title on the person's business card) this has really gotten so ugly and out of hand all because Subaru "refuses" to follow up and "refuses" to follow through. Such an easy fix, Subaru have a service department. Just fix my car. Geezzz - I know the mechanics have got to be certified. Just seems to be a never ending laundry list of maintenance issues with this vehicle. Clearly it's a lemon. it's a 2025 model - just swap it out already! this is utterly ridiculous! I can no longer make payments on [xxx] so I guess Subaru wont be getting my money for my lease on a car that seldomly works. Guess that's one way of getting out of payments. so that better not be getting my credit dinged because of this mess either. I am literally counting the days down to turn this hunk of junk back to Subaru. this has been the ultimate worst experience of my entire life! and your dealership refuses to do anything about it at all! I even have multiple cases open with Subaru of America - they to refuse to do anything to address my issues at all. never following up on phone calls or emails. I can't believe they're still in business!!! [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Since purchasing the vehicle, I have had numerous problems with the lane departure warning. It is inconsistent on a daily basis. The only time it responds the way it is supposed to, is if there is average light and very vivid road/lane markings. It sometimes does not respond to yellow lines in the road unless they are very vivid. It often misses white lines unless there is a strong contrast to the road. When it rains, all systems on my dashboard show that they are off and the word "eyesight" has a slash through it. There have been some instances where the car has not turned off, despite pushing the control repeatedly. . . And not allowing me entrance to the car despite the key in my hand and trying to open the locked car.
The brake pedal some time goes down to the floor. I brought vehicle in Subaru dealer for check up. They stated that the power brake booster is defective, need to be replace. This is 2023 vehicle and the mileage is only 46,000 miles. For safety to me and other drivers please investigate this safety concern.

Suddenly warning light "check engine" came on along with eye sight malfunction warning. "I rab off" "check engine" automatic emergency braking not working. Yes, available for inspection. Not confirmed yet by dealer. It is the weekend. There were no unusual symptoms prior to adas malfunction.
I have had several of the safety systems on the vehicle shut off suddenly. Twice, I have taken the vehicle into the dealership to get it looked at and now I will have to do so for the third time. It is pretty concerning because it has to do with all the safety features.

My 2019 Subaru Crosstrek surges at speeds around 60 mph, and swerves the vehicle without my control. I have to hold the steering wheel tightly and steer out of the swerve, which is incredibly dangerous on freeways or mountain roads. Apparently, the lane departure assist is the culprit, so now I have to disable the app before I drive. Why would I allow this dangerous application to drive my car for me? I have barely avoided crashing into semi trucks and driving into road shoulders because of this device. I think the car is dangerous. There is yet another dangerous issue with this car. There is another device that disables the transmission while idling in traffic. The steering and transmission are literally locked in place. I had this happen once in a drive through window, and once on a hill, while traffic was stopped for an accident. When the traffic started to move again, 20 minutes later, I could not get my car to start, and I was in front of a mile long line of traffic, coming back to highway speed, completely stopped. A policeman stopped and knew that there was a little " dimple" on my dashboard that would uncover a locking mechanism. If we only had a slender probe that would fit inside the dimple-pencil too big, so was screwdriver. By this time, I had 2 policemen stopped and traffic whizzing by me. An electrician stopped, knew about the dimple too, and had a slender enough rod to fit into the area, slid the locking mechanism to the side, and started the car again. On both of these issues, I called Subaru customer service and Subaru corporate. Nobody knew what these issues were, never heard of them! the car is inherently dangerous and I am stuck driving it because I financed it only a year ago and can't afford to buy another car. Subaru should at least acknowledge these dangerous issues, and offer me another model without these issues. The 2019 Crosstrek is the model I have that has these dangerous issues. Earlier and later models do not.

The eyesight turned off and would not turn back on. Then the airbag symbol lit up on the dashboard. My cruise control and lane assistance were not working as well. If I had been involved in an accident, the airbags would not have deployed. The warning messages appeared about 3 weeks ago.
Ever since I have owned the car may 2019 I have had the problem of dangerous unstable steering when it automatically departs from lanes at speeds above 50 mph in all weather conditions wet sunny mountains hilly when it puts all us in danger when tha driver has to adjust the car. Twice I have taken to the dealership and no action was taken and we remain apprehensive about driving our less than 6000 miles. It is unsafe and dangerous. Can any thing be done.
With the crack covering the eyesight system, the warning signal was always flashing and causing my steering to pull to one side. Since it was doing this it was causing the car to pull to one side or bring my tires costing me an additional $800 to replace the tires balance and alignment for my Crosstrek, plus the downtime that I had to takeoff from work to get my car worked on at the Subaru dealership.
