The contact was able to maintain control of the steering wheel to drive to a safe location. The contact inspected the vehicle and found that the front passenger tire was bent towards the left, the cv joint and transaxle were damaged, and the lower control arm was fractured. The vehicle was towed to an unknown auto garage for further inspection. The manufacturer was not notified. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 132,000.
