1 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 03/18/2019

Takata recall: per the notification I received in the mail, I attempted to make an appointment as soon as possible to have the necessary work performed on my vehicle. The dealership was farrish Subaru in fairfax, va. I scheduled my appointment last night for March 25. I received two emails today from the dealership. The first advised me that they had canceled my appointment. The second stated that they planned on scheduling all recall appointments for the first week of may, almost two months from now, which seems like an unacceptable amount of time to wait. I do not have alternative forms of transportation readily available and I frequently have passengers riding in my car. I have attached screenshots of the emails I received from farrish Subaru.

2 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 02/20/2018

Wearing my seat belt, I was driving up a hill going 50 mph and rear ended an SUV in front of me and side swiped another car on the drivers side. Both front tires busted, hood smashed in, both head light broken out, windshield wiper fluid container completely on ground, motor pushed back into the transmission, bent frame, everything under the hood of my car was pushed back, doors jammed shut and not a single air bag deployed. No air bags deployed, no powder came out, nothing. Luckily I wasn't hurt but the way my car is smashed I should of been badly injured or dead.

4 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2017

Takata recall. After informing me in July 2016 that the airbag has been recalled, Subaru has still not repaired the defect and will not give a timeline on when the parts will be available. I know that other people with Subarus have been able to get theirs repaired in a timely manner, but I have now gone over 14 months without the use of my front, passenger side seat. Putnam Subaru in san francisco sent me an email in April 2017 telling me to make a service appointment to get it fixed, but after three attempts at setting a time, they have called me to cancel saying that they still do not have the parts and that I'm on a waitlist. They insist that they cannot provide a timeline for when parts will be available even though they say they have been able to make some repairs.

9 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 07/19/2016

"takata recall" it is imperative that I receive my car in a timely manner. As a veteran with no job, it is difficult for me to get from location to location with no vehicle. Not having a vehicle has a negative effect on my life; which is causing undue stress and hardship. I believe that halting my vehicle from shipment without a sufficient amount of time to resolve the issue is unfair to myself and my family. In addition, I was never contacted, via phone, email, or postal, to ensure that I was a breast of the situation. Please help me get my vehicle in a timely manner. I have been expecting my vehicle to be delivered on the 6th of September.

10 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2016

Takata recall - recall status: recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available this is completely ridiculous, looks like I am putting myself and anyone in my car in harms way if I drive this car. What can I do ? what should I do ?.

11 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 06/10/2016

"takata recall" been waiting for parts. On waiting list 8 mouths.

12 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 03/07/2013

The driver was the only occupant in my vehicle. My vehicle was traveling straight through a controlled intersection. A vehicle approaching from the opposite direction attempted to turn left directly in front of me, causing the collision. My vehicle struck the other vehicle at almost a perfect 90 degree angle, causing extensive damage to the front of my vehicle, including destroying the bumper/bumper cover, front grill, headlights, radiator/ac condenser, both front fenders, hood, etc. Despite the severity of the damage no airbags deployed in my vehicle. The attending police officer (who cited the other driver) and the tow truck driver both commented that they were extremely surprised that the bag(s) did not deploy and that it was their belief that the bag(s) should have deployed.

13 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 12/18/2012

"takata recall" I received this mailing in June 2016 and have not heard anymore about this recall. West herr Subaru in orchard park NY said they have ordered the parts for my car months ago. I have not heard back from west herr Subaru or Subaru themselfes. I am not suppost to have anybody in the front seat but this has become a problem since I have 5 people to transfer sometimes. Do I have any other options to me?.
