1 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 09/10/2020

The airbag indicator sometimes indicates "off" when a passenger is sitting in the front passenger seat. This is inconsistent and is a real safety issue. Obviously dangerous to the passenger if the airbag does not deploy because the airbag system does not recognize that there is a passenger sitting in the front passenger seat. This is serious and needs to be addressed. Fyi: this happens on start up or while the engine is running and a passenger gets in the front seat.

2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 11/27/2019

I was involved in an accident on I-10 on 11/27/2019 at 2 pm. I was traveling at 60- to 65 mph and hit a SUV that had stopped in the left hand lane. The airbags did not deploy ( passenger or driver side) I have reported this to Subaru and so far they have not been helpful. I received contusions from my right hip to my left clavicle but no broken bones.

3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 05/20/2019

I was driving straight on a city street and the airbag light came on, I don't know why, but I do know the airbags will not deploy if I get into a accident. The car only has 95000 miles on it seems like a defect, never own a vehicle that had this happen.

4 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 05/08/2013

I was involved in an accident while driving my recently acquired 2013 Subaru Impreza, where another driver hit my vehicle in a side impact on the driver side front wheel and driver door (I can send the pictures via email). The good news is that I was able to get out on the other side of the vehicle. The bad news is that the side air bags did not deploy, and this was also noted by the emergency crew who arrived on the scene. I believe that this may be a design flaw or defect that Subaru engineers need to have a closer look at.

5 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 02/20/2013

Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Subaru Impreza. The contact had two accidents within a year. In both accidents the contact was braking to come to a stop in traffic and both times it unexpectedly accelerated and rear ended a vehicle in front of her vehicle. A police report was filed in both cases. It was unknown if the other party was injured in both accidents. The contact was not injured. The air bags did not deploy in either of the accidents which both occurred in 2013. The vehicle was towed in the first accident. And contact was travelling at 35 mph. The contact suspects she was sold a vehicle that had multiple issues wrong with it since she purchased it back in 2013. The contact had found out that someone had bought the vehicle and returned it before she purchased it. She had thought before that she had purchased the vehicle brand new. The vehicle was purchased from the dealer autonation Subaru west 16351 w colfax Ave, golden, CO 80401 (303) 578-6120. The failure mileage was 2,000. Tf.
