The contact took the vehicle to garcia Subaru north (6401 san mateo blvd ne, albuquerque, nm 87109) where the contact was informed that the crack was caused by a rock striking the windshield. The dealer also stated that a rock should not have caused such severe damage to the windshield. The windshield was not replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
