Two problems related to windshield wiper/washer have been reported for the 1997 Subaru Outback. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Windshield wipers failed resulting in poor visibility.
Windshield wipers would accumulate some kind of film on them when it starts to rain. This only happens on the outside of the vehicle. This causes havoc & poor visibility for the driver.
