Two problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1999 Subaru Outback. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Slid off the road on ice at @ 35 mph, went down an embankment, jumped a creek and hit the side of a hill head on however the driver's side had more damage so it probably hit first. Neither airbag deployed.
Travel at approx 30-35 mph hit another vehicle in the front drivers side of oncoming vehicle - neither air bag deployed.
