The contact owns a 2008 Subaru Outback. The contact stated that the hood latch would open independently causing the hood to move while the contact was driving 20 mph and over. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recurring failure and the hood was replaced twice but the failure continued to recur. The failure mileage was 20 and the current mileage was 44,000.
