1 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Severe, head-on impact to driver's side, other car was totaled. Police expected both cars to be totaled, and were surprised that driver's side airbag did not deploy. Driver was not seriously injured, however, she took a hard hit to her head, neck and shoulder. Dealer, independent service center have not inspected the vehicle, nor has problem been reproduced. Airbag has not been inspected by the manufacturer, or insurance rep. , police and repair facility only. No warning lamps, etc. Were known to have illuminated. The vehicle and airbag are available for inspection.

2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 07/12/2019

Tl- the contact owns a 2018 ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving about 60 mph in the rain, the vehicle hydroplaned and crashed into a concrete barrier and sled backwards, blocking two lanes of traffic. There was no warning. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained injuries that required medical attention the following day. The injuries included sprained hand and a large abrasion on the left arm. The vehicle was totaled and was towed to a tow yard, the contact called the central florida Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram dealer (407-641-2080, located at 8675 commodity cir, orlando, FL 32819) and stated that the technician was rude and did not offer any help. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was not provided. Fe.

3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 09/26/2018

Tl the contact owned a 2018 Subaru Outback. While driving 35 mph, the contact's vehicle attempted to merge into an open lane and was struck by another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. There was no warning indicator illuminated. The contact was not injured. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed by allstate insurance to an open lot where it was deemed a total loss. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised him to file a complaint with the insurance company. The failure mileage was 10,300.
