The contact also stated while starting the vehicle horn would sound intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed the failure as a remote start module. The remote start module was replaced however the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The contact stated that the manufacturer and dealer stated that the remote start system needed to be removed from the vehicle. The failure mileage was unknown.
