My driver side seat belt locked me in and I had to crawl out from under it. It cannot be released.

The passenger seat belt buckle is too low for release. My wife has a very difficult time releasing the seat belt from the buckle. If we were in an accident I fear that she would not be able to get out of the car. This has been reported to the dealer and they say that they can do nothing about it. All that has to be done is to replace the buckle with one of the same type that is used on the drivers seat.

The driver's seat belt is easily unsnapped. The thumb release button is very sensitive, therefore if my arm/elbow touches it, the latch will release. The actual release is designed so that the release button is slightly elevated making this possible. On my 1994 legacy, the button is level or slightly recessed. The seatbelt has released several times under normal driving conditions. It seems in a roll-over, something is going to hit this button, with the possibility of release. Thank you,
bob.
