1 Brake Disc Pads problem of the 2006 Suzuki Aerio

Failure Date: 01/01/2007

Emergency brake light began coming on randomly from time to time. It then began to come on when I turned left, then began to light up when I used the brakes, then stayed on all the time. My brother and I both own 2006 Aerios and both had the same problem at the same time. He took his to the dealership for what we thought would be warranty service. Turns out the brakes had worn out at 18,000 miles! he paid $200 to have his replaced. Being a former mechanic, I decided to sidestep the exorbitant cost of having a dealer replace my brakes planned to do the job myself. Unfortunately, there are no part stores that carry replacement pads for my car. I went to a dealership and was asked to pay $150 just for the pads! instead, I went to a local tire/brake shop and, in the interest of saving time and ending the runaround, I ended up paying the $200 to have my brake pads replaced at 18,000 miles.

2 Brake Disc Pads problem of the 2006 Suzuki Aerio

Failure Date: 01/01/2006

I bought this vehicle on Nov 2, 2005. Two months later the car was out of alignment so I took it to the shop to get that rectified. Exactly 7 days later it was out of alignment again so I took it to the dealership I bought it from and after I explained the situation their response was that this is not covered by the manufacturers warranty. I paid over $50 to get the car aligned again. In June and just today (Aug 15, 06) I took it to sears for alignment again. This is the fourth time in 10 months I had to take this car back for alignment. The tires are wearing excessively. The front brakes vibrate at 40 mph and of course, I was told by the dealership that this problem is also not covered by the warranty. Even without even test driving the car. Amazing. To fix it, it will cost me another $160 because the brake pads alone, supposedly cost $120. Let me tell you this, I came back to Suzuki because I was the proud owner of a chevy sprint rs 1985 made by Suzuki and I had it for 10 year with no problems whatsoever. Maybe that was too much luck but 4 alignments in 10 months is defenitly not the quality I was expecting from Suzuki. I will get rid of this car as soon as I can and guess what, I'm passing the word about the aereo's deficiencies to.

3 Brake Disc Pads problem of the 2005 Suzuki Aerio

Failure Date: 12/12/2005

I purchased my Aerio 2005 Suzuki Dec 2004, in Nov 2005 tires worn prematurely on 10,503 mileage, front brakes pads and rotors has to be replaced. I took car to dealership:replaced pads, mashined rotors and aligned/replaced one tire. Month later I come back to dealership with the problem to stop the car on the speed 15ml/h: push the brakes pedal to the floor, car did not stoped. Mechanik drive car, check the brakes and said brakes working fine as it is has to work as abs system, but my car does not has abs system. Sep. 2006 I did inspection with change oil service. Result of inspection the same as was in Nov 2005: alignment, tires worn out, brake pads and rotors need to be replaced and it is after 7,000 ml I add after the first replacement. Dealership algned and balance, replaced one tire again, about brakes declined, said is not warranty issue. My car has only 18,000 mileage and 100,000 warranty. Brake system is failed and alignment cost the tires primature worn out.
