1 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 06/22/2012

Exterior lighting in August 2011 went to dealer ship to have the recall done for the headlamp low beam or daytime running light (drl). So now it?s June 2012 my headlamps and drl lights not working. Very thankful it didn?t go out on my when I was driving at night I seen me light look different. Went to have bulbs replace lights still not working. So the place I was at ran a test and found out that the wiring is melted so, they side they did have a recall on this. So went Toyota dealerships and they tell me that the wiring that is melted is not the same wiring that was in the recall for my car. Wow really so now I can?t drive my car at night. But my high beams works.

2 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 11/20/2007

The contact owns a 2004 Suzuki Forenza. The light switch on the front driver side began smoking when it was turned on. The steering sustained burns. On November 20, 2007, the vehicle remained at the dealer for three weeks. She retrieved the vehicle on December 15, 2007 and returned to the dealer the following day. Currently, when the light switch is turned off, it would come back on. The dealer had the vehicle until January 16, 2008. The vehicle went back to the dealer on January 27, or 28, 2007 because the switch was not working. None of the lights on the instrument panel or exterior lights were working. She received the vehicle back on February 10, 2008 and was informed that the failure was the harness in the switch and the wires. They did the wiring. The vehicle is currently with the dealer and has been there since February 10, 2008. The dealer stated that they are still trying to diagnose the failure. Nhtsa campaign id number 07v452000 (exterior lighting) was referenced. The current mileage was 89,791 and failure mileage was 81,000.

3 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 08/20/2004

The car just dies on us in traffic for no apparent reason and then we have to let it set for about 20 minutes and it will start rigth back up. We have had it in at the dealers to be fixed on 2 different ocassions and they hook it up to their diagnostic tools and it shows no defects. They said they thought it was because of the cruise control they had installed aftermarket. So they removed that and told us it was fixed. The very next day it started dying on us again.

4 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 06/04/2004

While driving 30 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle had been to the dealer three times for this problem. Once the dealer replaced a fuse, but that didn't fix the problem. The dealer found a ecm fuse at the ip fuse blocked open. (ecm, eng fuse block, tcm, ip fuse) the shifting transaxle harness was rerouted between the firewall and connector c206 secure harness.
