I have a 2006 Suzuki Forenza and have issues with the transmission range sensor and the airbag light staying on. I have looked online and there are several complaints about the same issues. Whenever the car is put in reverse or I have to go down the gears to drive, the car jerks and then drives very slowly. It is as though I am driving a stick-shift and not letting off of the clutch. The whole car jerks when this happens. I do not and have not had the money to fix this problem. The dealership told me it would $350. 00 plus labor to fix this part alone. On top that they said my serpentine belt needs changed which would be an additional $190. I believe this car needs recalled or atleast Suzuki needs pay the majority of the costs for the part being replaced.
The contact owns a 2006 Suzuki Forenza. While driving 65 mph he experienced unintended vehicle acceleration and the vehicle stalled. An authorized technician replaced the timing chain, water pump, timing belt valves , and the cylinder head. The timing chain separated twice after the vehicle was repaired. None of the repairs have corrected the failure. The vehicle identification number was unavailable. The failure and current mileages were 51,000.
