1 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem of the 2007 Suzuki Forenza

Failure Date: 05/24/2011

I bought a 2007 Suzuki Forenza 4 door sedan new in 2007 but now the drive lights would not turn off did this once before about three months ago but turned off after about 47 minutes after I took the batterie cable a lose. It started again on may 24, 2011 when my wife took our kids to basketball practice she smelt something burning, the car burst into flames with a lot of smoke down by her leg, another motorist saw her and put the fire out with a fire exstinquisher. The car does not run it will turn over but not crank no power in car, no lights nothing works. Car is full of exstinquisher smoke from trying to put fire out. The harness with wires going inside of it inside of car is melted, had to have car towed home 31. 9 miles. Called Suzuki about car they asked me is there a recall on the car, go figure please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also when car was working the tire pressure gauge stayed on even with new tires that I could not keep on car car is wearing tires down and last but not least air conditioner was only blowing hot air even though it is full of freon.

2 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem of the 2007 Suzuki Forenza

Failure Date: 06/09/2010

Suzuki Forenza 2007, 42,000 miles. 1) transmission range sensor: transmission slips when in drive -- panel shows a "d" with a slash through it. After researching, have found this to be extremely common among the most well-maintained Forenzas. Unacceptable. Engine light came on and as soon as I tried to go forward ,the car would just decelerate down like 10 or 20 mph "scary" within a matter of seconds and no matter how much I pushed the pedal to accelerate to the floor but it was as if I didn't have power. 2)tire pressure light comes on every other day. 3)the front passenger air bag light comes on to show the air bag is not working even if I have a passenger seated properly in the front seat.

3 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem of the 2008 Suzuki Forenza

Failure Date: 10/10/2008

Smoke and fumes coming thru vents. Check engine light keeps coming on. Purchased car new 05/06/2008, I have had problem since a few months after purchase. Transmission replaced twice and car still slips and hesitates and has cut off twice while in traffic since the transmission was replaced. Replace serpentine belt which warranty did not cover. Car has 29,500 mi. Loud squealing noise (this was why I paid to have the belt replaced because the dealership service center said this is what the original squealing was from) now they are saying the noise is coming from the tires but stated they did not have time to check it. My car was recently in the service center for 3 weeks because the transmission was bad and the first new replacement went bad during the test drive and they had to put a 3rd transmission inthe car and it still does not drive right. This car is unsafe. I am close to warranty ending and I feel this is why im getting the run around by the dealership. Car locks and unlocks on its own. Car will randomly miss while in drive (engine will rev up when I push the gas pedal with car in drive but will not move) I have to put it in park then put it in drive again to get it to work.

4 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem of the 2007 Suzuki Forenza

Failure Date: 07/11/2008

My tire went flat on Saturday July 12th, 2008 and I went to a local gas station and they checked the tire for me. They took it apart and found no hole in the tire and realized that my valve was broken with a sensor attached to it. They took the part out and replaced it with a regular valve without the sensor. I called Suzuki in plaistow, new hampshire where I bought the car and they referred me to the hooksett location in new hampshire. I brought my car into the hooksett location on July 19th, 2008. I currently do not have the piece I gave it to the service department. I also found out the tire was no good because it kept going flat and caused damage. They couldn't replace the tire itself for free so I had to come out of pocket and pay for a new tire. They replaced the valve with sensor attached for free, but I am concerned that this will keep happening to all my tires and that I will get into an accident.
