Seven problems related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings have been reported for the 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer received recall notice 01v146000 in June. Contacted dealership. Was informed by service manager that no parts were delivered, nor were they available.
01 f 011 000/fuel pipe: unable to get a proper schedule from dealer; federal highway Suzuki; denver, CO; phone# 303/404-6500, so they could honor recall.
Nhtsa recall 01v146000/ manufacturers recall x4, consumer called dealer concerning recall repairs, dealer had not received parts, and did not know when parts will come in. Consumer was informed on sept 26,2001 the parts would be in the first week of October.
Consumer received recall notice 01v146/ manufacturer's recall x4 in June, and parts still have not come in to remedy problem. Dealer stated parts were on back order.
Parts were still not available for recalls 01f011000 and 01v146000 concerning fuel pipe/hose. Pleaese provide any further information. According to recall call letter this part could cause a fire.
Recall 01 f 011 000/fuel pipe: dealer ; bill frank automotors,inc; south bend, in; phone# 219/277-5800 was unable to honor recall because of no parts available when contacted. Seeking help NHTSA in this matter. Feel free to provide any further information on this matter.
Consumer received notification for recall 01v146000. Dealership cancelled appointment to correct the defect because parts were not availble from manufacturer. Dealership was refusing to service vehicle, and has made no further attempt to reschedule appointment.
