One problem related to wiring has been reported for the 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The wires at the back of the cigarette lighter melted. When the consumers brake assist was plugged into the cigarette lighter it burned up, because the wire was too thin and was unable to carry that type of load. Luckily the fuse did not blow out.
