01 f 011 000/fuel pipe:dealer, gerald Suzuki; naperville,IL; phone# 630/355-3900 unable to honor manufacturer's recall due to no parts. Later, consumer contacted another dealer, and was also informed of no parts available until 3-4 months. Consumer has still not had recall repairs complete due to no parts.
Consumer is calling in regard to NHTSA recall# 01f011000 for fuel hose. Dealer has been contacted for repairs, but is unable to complete work for lack of parts. Please provide futher details.

Nhtsa recall 01v146000/ manufacturers recall x4, consumer called dealer concerning recall repairs, dealer had not received parts, and did not know when parts will come in. Consumer was informed on sept 26,2001 the parts would be in the first week of October.
When temperature is cold fuel can freeze, resulting in failure of fuel hose. Contacted dealer, and dealer was not willing to do anything. There was a manufacturer's recall , but they did not have the parts for repairs. Ak.

Consumer received recall notice 01v146/ manufacturer's recall x4 in June, and parts still have not come in to remedy problem. Dealer stated parts were on back order.
Parts were still not available for recalls 01f011000 and 01v146000 concerning fuel pipe/hose. Pleaese provide any further information. According to recall call letter this part could cause a fire.

Consumer received notification for recall 01v146000. Dealership cancelled appointment to correct the defect because parts were not availble from manufacturer. Dealership was refusing to service vehicle, and has made no further attempt to reschedule appointment.
