3 Other Fuel System problem of the 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara

Failure Date: 05/18/2013

The vehicle was parked in a store parking lot and when I started the car put it in reverse and then in drive to exit the parking lot. When on the street the car went across the street I put my foot on the gas and it stalled. When I my put my foot on the gas to go forward it didn't respond. I then put ithe car in park and the car jumped forward three times on its own and then stopped repeating this again, but not a third time because I shut the car off. Then I restarted the car. I was able to coast with hazards on to my house under 10 mph. O shut it off and called the auto mechanic. The throttle sensor went. So my car now soys at the station awaiting a new sensor while I am without a means to get to work. This could have caused a serious accident as I crossed the street because cars were comjng.

4 Other Fuel System problem of the 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara

Failure Date: 07/05/2012

The vehicle at highway speeds from 45 to 55 miles per hour will lose complete power dropping from 45 or 55 to 10 or 15 mph very rapidly when this happens you have no control of acceleration or vehicle till it reaches the 10 to 15 mph range leaving you in a very dangerous position if you are not close enough to the shoulder of the road to pull off leaving you the possibility of being in a collision with faster approaching vehicles from the rear this is a serious problem that could result in death from a rear end collision and appears to be a common problem with this vehicle. Something needs to be done about this and the dealers have no explanation for this failure. This has been an on going problem from July of 2012 to the current date of 2/4/2013.
