My most recent inconvenience with my Suzuki recall tensioner was on 2/5/2020, I was driving on a busy highway in the rain when my vehicle's belt tensioner and drive belt came off of the recall tension adjuster pulley. I could not turn my vehicle, the alternator light was on, and engine light was on. I have been trying to get all of my recall parts for my Suzuki Grand Vitara repaired since may 2019. Royal Nissan baton rouge, is the company responsible for repairing Suzuki's recalls, but they have failed to honor its warranty policy causing me to spend over $500 in repairs that should have been repaired. The belt has slipped on three separate occasions , I had no other choice but to pay for a new belt tensioner because my life was at risk. The company held responsible for out of pocket expenses and recall parts that are still incomplete is royal Nissan baton rouge, I spoke with a representative by the name of nathan.
When I push on gas it doesn't excellerate. Make a grinding noise on lower drivers side of engine. I smell something burning.

Takata recall? air bag and passenger air bag sensor lights stay on. Only have 70,000 miles on car. Abs/esp light stays on.
When car was initially started, after few minutes of warm up time, heat was activated and no heat was dispersed. Began driving, despite no heat. Within 1 mile traveling less that 15 mph, the temparature gage increased to the highest level, still without heat in car. (picture 1) as speed increased, temperature gage rapidly fluctuated and esp warning lights illuminated on dash. (picture 2) pulled off highway immediately following warning lights, engine found to be smoking. Diagnosed with engine crack. , crack sealed for temporary function, within days of seal, same symptoms as previously stated, but total system shut down following esp warning lights. Acceleration halted, power steering went out and brakes difficult to work. After sitting off, car unable to start.

Electronic stabilizing system esp stopped working, needing serviced. Brake light always on with eps light as well. On top of a major problem with the floor boards swells and soaks with water in front right passenger and back passenger side floors, its worst when a/c is running. . . Its like a sponge when u take your hand to it.
The contact owns a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The contact's vehicle has an esp system and the button read, "push esp off". The salesman stated that once the button is pushed off, the indicator will go away. The indicator activates while driving 20 mph and over and cannot be stopped. Dot NHTSA number 2006-25801rin2127-aj7749cfr, parts 571, and 585 federal motor vehicle safety standards were referenced. The electronic stability control system recommends that there should be an override mechanism. The contact was informed that if the esp system does not shut off, it can become a safety issue. The manufacturer stated that nothing could be done because they were in compliance. The failure mileage was 100. The consumer stated the esp button has no override button. The esp button manipulates the major controls of the vehicle such as maintaining traction and skid control. Updated 03/11/09.
