The contact owns a 2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The contact noticed that his vehicle was missing a lug nut on the right rear tire. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and inspected where it was determined that the lug nut sheered off of bolt and the vehicle was repaired at no cost. One year later the contact noticed that the left rear tire lug nut sheered off of the tire; however, a local mechanic stated that the lug nut had not sheered off of the bolt and billed the contact $60. 00 to repair the tire . The contact is in the process of notifying the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 23,000 and the current mileage was 29,594.

Consumer letter regarding the poor sales and service ethics of the Suzuki dealership. ** answer required***. When the consumer purchased the vehicle the remote for the door locks did not work. A new one was ordered which the consumer had to pay for. The vehicle did not come with an owner's manual and the consumer had to pay for a new one. The air conditioner did not work. While driving the consumer heard a thumping noise. The consumer's husband checked the vehicle and found that two lug nuts on the driver's side rear tire were missing and the three others were loose. The other wheels were check and they too has loose lug nuts.
