Was driving on the highway and the car started stuttering then stopped while I was driving. Had to pull over to the side of the road to avoid getting hit. The mechanic told me the transmission failed even though the car fluid was changed at the manufacturer suggest integrals. There was no warning lamps.

Driving on the highway to school the vehicle began to slow down and come to a stop even as I stepped on the accelerator. I parked on the side of the road and restarted and the same thing happened so I had my insurance company tow it. After researching I found that the manufacturer issued recalls for the vehicle but when I contacted them they said there were no found defects/recalls that caused these issues for my specific vehicle.
Been trying to get my repairs on my car since June of 2020 and was just recently told that I could not get my car repaired due to Suzuki closing down I can not get my tags because of this issue the recalls has to be fixed.

On August 11, 2014 my vehicle caught fire while I was driving home from work. I had to pull over around the corner from my job because I smelled smoke and saw smoke in my car. I pulled over a local firestone mechanic shop. I opened up my console because most of the smoke was coming from the console, and when I opened the console I saw fire. I rushed inside the firestone to get help. The mechanics at the firestone use a fire extinguisher , and the fire department was called. The fire also started up again underneath my cup holder in the car, and after this happened the battery was disconnected. The fire department said the fire appeared to have started as a result of an electrical problem with the ac power plug. I did not have anything plugged in the cigarette lighter, so how the fire started and why I do not know. I'm very concerned about my safety and the vehicle. I also filled a claim with Suzuki corporation, and they had an inspector come out to inspect the car. The inspector is unable to determined what caused the fire in the car.

In the past 13 months I have had to have a engine replacement in which the vehicle was pouring carbon monoxide into the car, I went to pick the vehicle up after being repaired for over a month at the Suzuki dealership in charlotte, nc. I drove the car approximately 1. 5 miles away where the vehicle cut off as I was making a turn into a busy intersection leaving me stranded in the middle of traffic. After several more weeks of being at the dealership I left with a new transmission along with the new motor. 6 weeks later the transmission broke down again when I was driving down the interstate with my daughter in the car. The transmission was replaced at a Suzuki dealership in hickory, nc. I was able to drive the car for 6 more weeks when the vehicle broke down for a third time while I was driving through a busy intersection. None of these break downs have resulted in an accident but I fear the trouble with this car is endangering my life and my child's life. I have had a Suzuki engine expert from the hickory service center look at my car and he can not figure out why the vehicle continues to breakdown the last time the transmission was replaced in January of 2014 I had to replace the front tires I was told an alignment was needed because the car was destroying in the inner side of my front tires. I have had two alignments and a whole new set of tires on the front of my car and again I am needing to replace them and no one can tell me why this is happening just that this car is problematic. I fear that I have exhausted all other resources I was sold a lemon and if I had purchased the vehicle new Suzuki would of been obligated to replace this vehicle under lemon law but because I purchased this vehicle used. I purchased something that I feel could endanger my child or myself.
