Six months ago, I had to replace my drivers side lowbeam headlight bulb. It appears to be out again. This seems to be an unusually short amount of time to have a headlight go out.

I bought my Suzuki during September 2015. Four months after my purchase the headlights suddenly turned off. The daytime running lights work as well as my high beams. In order for me to drive at night, the high beams are on. My high beams are also not bright enough to be considered high beams. The license plate lights also turned off (the same time). I and a couple others have read the manual and have checked and rechecked fuses. I even replaced the fuses just in case. O'reilly, advance auto, and auto zone have all stated that they would be happy to sell me more headlights, but it would not resolve the problem because it sounded more like and electrical issue and until that is addressed I would more than likely have to replace the headlights more than once within 6 months. I have checked forums and have read that this has happened to several Suzuki Kizashi owners and without resolutions that permanently fix this common problem.
I purchased this vehicle about a year ago. December of 2014 one of my low beam headlights burnt out. Followed by the second burning out a couple of days later. Now I went to a trade school for auto mechanics and know how to replace headlight bulbs as I have done it plenty of times on other vehicles. After replacing both bulbs with oem replacements they worked fine, no issues, just it was a pain in this vehicle to change. After about 2 months one went out again. They were replaced again with higher quality/rated bulbs. Again after about 2 months same issue. I have gone on Suzuki forums and done my research on this issue and have seen many consumers with the same problem. Wondering why this is not a recall since its a sever safety issue while driving at night time. Making it extremely difficult to see pedestrians, animals ect. Please help resolve this issue.
Replaced driver side headlight Jan of 2014, Aug of 2014, Dec of 2014 and July of 2015. It is always the driver side that goes out every 6 or 7 months. Because the bulb burns out so often, its becoming a hazard to driving at night time. I have made sure to always have an extra bulb when 6 months is approaching just in case. This is not something we should have to replace every 6 months on a newer car.
I bought my 2011 Suzuki kazashi pre-owned with a little over 22,000 miles on it in February of 2013. A little less than 2 months later, my driver's side low beam headlight was out. I replaced both low beam headlights myself as I always replace the pair if one goes out. It went out again in March 2014. This time, I had my mechanic replace it because replacing the bulbs were a pain, and I had to get an oil change and have my tires balanced and rotated and my wheels aligned anyway. On may 19th, on a rainy, foggy morning, I noticed that the headlight was out again. . . Less than 2 months and less than 5,000 miles later. I have not reported the incident because Suzuki dealerships in my area pretty much all closed their doors the month after I bought the car. I'm surprised that there isn't a recall for this issue as it deals with safety (seeing at night).
Vehicle's low beam light bulbs keep burning out every 2-3 month. . Sometimes both at a time, making driving dangerous. Light bulbs were changed by dealer and myself already 6 times. Used oem as well as other brands - makes no difference. Always used rubber gloves during replacement procedure and never touched the glass portion of the bulb. There is an electrical fault with the vehicle and Suzuki does not want to admit or fix. This was brought to Suzuki's dealer attention several times during bumper-to-bumper warranty period. Dealer says they could not find anything, but headlights keep burning out every 2-3 months. Now the vehicle has 45,000 miles and Suzuki says they will do nothing about it.
Vehicle low beam headlights have gone out on 5 different occassions. Sometimes at the same time & others just a few days apart. Headlamps have always been fixed at dealer site. They have run checks on electrical system & have found nothing. They have opened ticket with Suzuki & they appear to be ignoring the problem. Filed complaint with Suzuki dispute settlement program & because it was out of the warranty period when complaint was filed they would not cover it. I have sent a letter to Suzuki asking them to either fix problem correctly or purchase vehicle back from me. Have not heard a work from them regarding this. Will be speaking with attorney regarding this. There is no warning when headlights go out, so they are checked on a daily basis. Vehicle is driven alot & in various weather & lighting conditions. I have been told by dealership that they have two other 2011 Kizashi's that are having the same problem.
My headlights have gone out either one or sometimes both. Either low beam or day lights. All dealership does is replace the bulb but not fix the problem. This has happened more than a handful of times since 2012. This is frustrating and I hate this car. It sounds to me like an electrical issue but they can't find anything wrong with it.
