Headlights Problems of Suzuki Reno

Airbag light has been on since I purchased this car April 6th 2016 and driver seatbelt broke recent. January 29 2017 both lowbeam headlights went out,these things were recalled but they say my VIN#doesn't match recalls and won't service or honor these recalls! thanks.

As I was driving I noticed that the headlights were very dim. I pulled over to test my lights and noticed that when I turned on and off the headlights that there was no change in brightness. I called the local Suzuki dealership and after giving them my VIN they told me that there was no active recall in effect for my car. I think the recall should be expanded to my car as well. In the interim I am taking my car to the dealership to get the headlamps fixed but it will cost me money to do so.

This could have resulted in a potential crash! the american Suzuki company will not honor this recall. This car was not sold in hawaii, but was shipped here from California from the person I bought it from in 2005. Now they want me to pay for it, and I have to find my own ase mechanic that is willing to have instructions faxed to them if they meet the requirements. . On top of that, they are only willing to pay $68. 00. . . . Which I am sure will not cover the labor for this procedure. I am on social security and do not have the money to pay for this repair. . What do I do next? I need my headlights fixed! please help!.

The repair bill was total of $94. 77. I did file case with Suzuki. Case number is [xxx] model 2006 Reno.
