Try to accelerate from a stop, there is no acceleration for at least 3 seconds- the car will then buck and go- very dangerous when trying to get out of a block or driving on a highway. Mechanic has it again- codes that come up mean nothing. Please help- it;s my daughter's car and she is only 17 going to drive to college which is 40 miles away on the highway.
Suzuki Verona 2004: computer chip has to be reprogrammed because it doesn't regulate the engine. Then when this is done the o-2 sensors and check engine light comes on. The computer chip causes the car to hesitate, stall and backfire. (flash of chip needed) Suzuki then promises customer that they will get a car payment for their trouble in an attempt to entice them to. . . Release Suzuki from arbitration. . . . But the check is a scam. (they alledgedly withdrew the offer when I asked for either a trade up to a non lemon or defective car or arbitration) there never was any proof of any check given to me. Suzuki claims they had to obtain "approval" from epa to rewrite the chip". . . But I never received any recall notice. Im uncertain of the technical terms but I believe if epa was involved that Suzuki. . Verona might not meet emissions standards. On the date there isn't a certain date.
Suzuki Verona 2004 purchased the car new had engine replaced and on 3 rd transmission. Car recently was parked with a child inside of it and went up in flames fortunately no one was injured. Car was destroyed and total. Suzuki has had major issues with this vehicle and refuse to do anything. This car is a death trap waiting to happen. I had the serviced regularly and had a certified Suzuki dealership to do all warrant work on vehicle and it was regularly serviced.
