The vehicle slowed to approximately 60 mph. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle then slowly returned to the cruise speed of 80 mph. The contact stated that the independent braking failure had become reoccurring. The contact stated that the independent braking also occurred when the vehicle lane departure control was activated. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.
