The contact owns a 2015 Tesla Model S. After placing the vehicle into park, the driver's side door opened independently without warning. The contact also stated that the door would not open or operated when needed. The contact notified the manufacturer of the failure and was informed that they were aware of the defect and the repair cost was estimated at $600. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 120,000.
