The contact owns a 2017 Tesla Model S. The contact stated that while reversing into a parking space at 1 mph, the rear driver's side door inadvertently opened and the audible warning sound alerted that the door was open. There were issues prior with the rear driver's side door not opening from the outside when it was unlocked. The rear driver's side door would only open from the inside of the vehicle. The contact had not informed the dealer or the manufacturer of the failure. The failure mileage was 70,345.
The contact owns a 2017 Tesla Model S. The contact stated while at a standstill, the rear passenger's door unlatched but did not open. The contact stated that the door ajar light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to Tesla (9111 blue ash rd, cincinnati, OH 45242, (513) 745-9111) however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.
