Seats problem #1

When braking from 20 mph, the seat rocks forward, and then in coming to a halt, rocks backward. Very unsafe. Feels like the seat mount is about to break off from floor pan. 07/24/2019.

Seats problem #2

The drivers seat mount (left front) failed causing the seat to become loose and rock. The seat mount beneath the carpet had failed, allowing the mounting bolt to fall off. The metal bracket had to be welded with new, stronger metal and the bolt reattached with spot welds. This failure is wide spread among all Toyota 4 runners from 1995-2002; Toyota is aware and has failed to address this defect; all should be recalled and repaired.
