The contact owns a 2003 Toyota 4runner. While driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle swerved to the left and right and became uncontrollable without warning. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and restarted the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the rear passenger side control stabilizer arm was rusted and detached from the frame. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 182,835.
