One problem related to interior rearview mirror has been reported for the 1997 Toyota Avalon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The sunvisor interferes withn static operation of the center rearview mirror. Whenever either of the two sunvisors is operated to a lowered position, the rearview mirror moves on account of the cutouts on the sunvisor to accomodate the rearview mirror not being sufficiently large.
