Two problems related to steering wheel have been reported for the 1998 Toyota Avalon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Steering column locks up goes other direction. (no control) of steering column. Replaced part but also defective. Don't undersand why this is happening?.
Steering wheel is inoperable due to a faulty steering yoke. Dealer has inspected vehicle, and informed consumer that part was on backorder.
