One problem related to air brake disc pads has been reported for the 1999 Toyota Camry. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at approxiametly 35 m. P. H. , when brakes were pressed they went down to the floor resulting in a rear end crash. The air bags and passenger seat belt did not work. The crash was reported to the police and insurance company. The inspector stated that the airbag and seatbelt was ok. The dealer is replacing the master cylinder, frozen calipers and brake pads because of uneven wear. The injured passenger suffered a concussion and sprained wrists.
