Front Seat Belt Anchorage problems of the 1999 Toyota Camry

1 Front Seat Belt Anchorage problem

Failure Date: 09/18/2000

Vehicle was involved in an accident when there was a brake failure, dealer found the calipers to be defective and replaced the brake pads, rotors, and calipers, in the accident, the airbags experienced no deployment and the seatbelts did not work, passenger sustained injuries.

2 Front Seat Belt Anchorage problem

Consumer tried to install a child safety seat into the vehicles rear seat, vehicle was designed with switchable seat belts and when the child seat becomes secure as to not move an inch either way the switchable seat belt releases.
