Purchased 2001 Toyota Camry xle on 03-15-2003. I have been having problems with squeaking from the rear going over bumps. I called folsom lake Toyota for some advise, the gentleman said use a spray lubricant on all the joints and this should correct the problem. This did not work. On October 16, 2003 I went to folsom lake Toyota and spoke with a service rep regarding this problem. He brought up the car on his system, which it was disclosed to me the vehicle when traded to them had rear suspension squeaking, I also saw this on his computer for myself. I went in on Saturday oct 18, 2003 for my appointment. After 2 1/2 hours the assistant service manager phil disclosed to me the vehicle had severe suspension problems. He would not put this on a work order for me to show what the problems where. He did indicate he would speak with the managers of the sales department on Monday October 20, 2003. I have not heard from him. I called the service department and was told he would be left a message. This vehicle was sold to me as a certified used vehicle, which doesn't seem to mean a damn thing. I would like this to be investigated due to the fact the car had this problem when they took it in and they put a temporary bandage on it until they could pawn it off. I would not have bought this car if it had been disclosed to me that the suspension had a problem. I want to be reimbursed all payments made, my down payment and to have Toyota financial paid off as if this transaction never took place. This is not the quality I expected out of Toyota.
